It's our volunteers that make Habitat successfull
No Experience Necessary. It’s a great way to learn building skills and knowledgeable supervision is provided. You must be at least 14 to be on the construction site, 16 to construct, and 18 to use power tools. We have a core construction crew that routinely works Monday and Wednesday morning. Most other construction days are on Saturdays. Most of our volunteers learn their building skills from other volunteers on the job. If you are interested in constructing or rehabbing houses, you’ll find a group of down-to-earth people who first motivation is to help others. Some are framers, plumbers, carpenters, electricians, and other tradesmen. All want to be part of the Habitat ministry; making a demonstrable difference in the lives of low income working families. |
