Habitat for Humanity Menominee River hosted its 7th Annual Wine & Hops "Taste of Hope" on April 1. Over 100 people attended the event to support Habitat and enjoyed a wide variety of beer and wine, trivia, and outstanding food.

Items donated from individuals and businesses, both near and far, raised money which will go directly into your local Habitat for Humanity affiliate to help families obtain decent homes.

The 2011 sponsors were Dickinson County Healthcare, Verso Quinnesec Mill, and Oldenburg Lake Shore Employees. The continued support from local businesses and individuals continues to make the Taste of Hope event a suceess. To all who assisted in this years event- Thank you
